SOBREMESA (Spanish)
(n.) the period of time after a meal when you have food-induced conversations with the people you have shared the meal with.
As they say "a Sunday well spent brings a week of content".... It might be a cliché, but it is the best motivation for all of us who always cling on weekends. Maybe because we have something good to look back to when workdays start to kick in.
Rainy Season is almost over, and these past few days we are longing for sunshine. Finally, wish granted! So I and my partner in crime -- Mai, didn't have any second thoughts on how we'll spend the entire day. We're spontaneous kids who are always on the go, especially in discovering romantic, scenic and unique restaurants. No second thoughts! Tagaytay is the place to be.
But, where exactly in Tagaytay? There are a lot of beautiful restaurants that are located there... but what we are really searching for is something unique, not so familiar to everyone and maybe with the so called "X Factor".
MARCIA ADAM'S TUSCANY it is! A Mediterranean Restaurant that is not really hard to find. So, when we arrived at the place, we were in the state of awe. Enough parking space outside and we were immediately entertained by one of their staff. They even greeted us with a smile and we felt a very warm welcome. I can still remember how one of them said "Look around! More beautiful view awaits you".
Here it is..... I'll tour you around!

Let's talk about food! Actually, we were already full when we got here. We were only planning to order some desserts and coffee. We didn't research that much that's why we were surprised when the Waiter informed us that the minimum order amount is 700PHP (Full Course Meal) per person. But, when you come to think of it, good ambiance with good service, probably they are offering good food as well.
Early dinner served!
Everything for us is equally spectacular! From the starters to the main course up to the dessert. The food has this fresh and organic taste, which made it more impressive for us. What can I say; 700PHP per person is worth it! I guess, my pictures can't even translate how good the food was.
Starters:

Tzatziki with Lettuce Chips

Humus with Whole Wheat Tortilla

Main Course:
Fish Souvlaki (Tanigue)

Chicken Kebabs

Dessert:
Grilled Orange with Vanilla Ice Cream

Panna Cotta with Lemon Sauce

Need I say more?! I will definitely go back to this place over and over again..... Maybe with my family... or other group of friends...
I SHALL RETURN!
I bet you will feel the same way.
